London After Midnight
This 1927 silent film starred actor Lon Chaney as the vampire. Lon Chaney was one of the biggest silent actors of his time, appearing in over 150 films between 1913 and the time of his death in 1930. This film was also the first full length American film to have a vampire role in it. Unfortuanatly this film is now considered a "lost film" because no copies have been found for many years. Hopefully someday it will be recovered for all of us to enjoy again.
